Following on from the summer release of the samurai diver back in July 2024, Seiko reveal a padi edition celebrating 60 years of padi (Profession Association of Diving Instructors). As with the original samurai diver, the padi edition is also packed with specs boasting a class-leading dive watch for the price, with 200m of water resistance thanks to a screw down crown and caseback. This Prospex diver is fitted with a 120 click lumibrite bezel, a 20mm divers extension with an extra 10mm of adjustment in the bracelet and the new addition of Seiko’s proprietary 4R35 calibre now allowing for anti magnetism of up to 4800 a/m or equivalent to 60 gauss.
