Remove your jewellery

To help protect the durability and high-quality finish of your jewellery, we recommend you to remove your jewellery when you shower, bathe or engage in heavy exercise, particularly when gardening, swimming in the sea or a chlorinated swimming pool.

Check your jewellery

All of our gemstones are natural and therefore can be vulnerable to chipping, gathering oils and dirt, or scuffing and scratching. Settings may also become loose over-time, or worn down with wear. We are very happy to check your jewellery for you and would recommend you have this done regularly.

Use Warm Soapy Water

To keep your jewellery looking radiant and to remove the build-up of dirt and premature tarnish we recommend cleaning your metal set jewellery with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush.

Use A Soft Cloth

To clean pearls, beads, opals and turquoise it is best to keep them dry and simply wipe over them with a soft cloth. These are soft gemstones and therefore are more vulnerable to damage. The material that pearls are traditionally thread onto is silk, which is also easily damaged if damp, so wearing these in water is not recommended.
