Inspired by trench watches from back in the day, the Seiko 5 field was built to be robust and reliable. Being part of the Seiko 5 line this watch represents Seiko’s core design philosophy focusing on comfortability for daily wear with ‘5’ representing the 5 key attributes of these watches being automatic movement, day-date display, water resistance, recessed crown and a durable case and strap. Now sporting a display caseback showing off the automatic calibre 4R36 which allows for up to 41hrs power reserve, all set into a midsized 36mm case.
